Summary
The last person Caleb Widogast, Professor of Modern History, expects to find as he walks in a random pub in a foreign city at the end of a long conference is Dr. Essek Thelyss, eminent Latinist and his sort-of intellectual crush.
Things rapidly evolve from there, in rather unexpected ways.

Summary
Tryst was like if you took all of Leenik’s worst impulses and made them hot. Only in Tryst they didn’t feel—dangerous. Or they did, but the good kind of dangerous, not the unbalanced, fragile kind. In Tryst they were the kind of dangerous that made you fun at parties, rather than the kind that got you psychiatric screenings. Tryst took the spikes out of Leenik’s free-falling self-destruction and made him think—infectious and certain—that he was going to land safely before before he leapt.
He was usually wrong. Which was how they ended up back at the Bluebird, at 8 am, two hours into Leenik’s shift, slumped into a booth. Leenik was tipped forward with his head on the table. Bacta’s head was on his knee, the rest of him splayed across the bench. He felt kind of weird about that—not Bacta in his space, he’d had that for five years easy as breathing. It was the six months that he hadn’t that was making it weird.

Bookmarker's Notes
This was super cute! I love how you wrote Madge and Hampton’s relationship! I also enjoyed how you clearly wrote Madge’s explanation in a way that would make sense for someone in the 1890s <3 love people realizing their aroace and being treated with love and support

Summary
He knows why Crowley — who had not so much as picked up a book since the invention of the printing press — had done all that, and done it to save the fragile, insignificant human items that Aziraphale reveried with such vital importance, without even having to be asked. He knows, with a feeling of exhilaration like a live wire throughout his body, why Crowley had always saved him, had always thought of him, and had always treated him with such kindness, the likes of which Aziraphale had never received from anyone else, and never would, or had thought to extend even to himself.
Season three opens on London, 1941, and the end of a long night.
