Michael stretched over the back of the couch, long and bending in places normal people didn’t have joints, reaching for the book Gerry had abandoned on the table behind him. Gerry paid that little attention, though, eyes suddenly drawn towards the way Michael’s shirt rode up, the flash of faintly prismatic skin and fine blond hair.
