After years of living on the fringes, photographer/sketch artist Beca Mitchell has finally caught her big break, with one of New York City's most prestigious galleries gearing up to host a month-long exhibition of her work. She's hoping to sell a few pieces, upgrade her equipment, get out of her crappy apartment, and maybe make some lucrative connections. The overly enthusiastic curator organizing the whole thing and the very opinionated journalist who shows up on opening day aren't exactly what she had in mind, but when sparks start flying Beca realizes that however this whole thing shakes out, her life will never be the same again.
