Summary
When Wind Archer was created, he thought it was a blessing to be gifted wings. With them, he could go where ever the wind took him. Though, now he sees that they also held a bitter curse. They, to be blunt, were extremely high maintenance. Try as he might, he can't ignore his animalistic features.
But even if he does tend to them, there are still places out of his reach, in which he would need another set of hands. While he normally would turn to his creator for such assistance, today he doesn't wish to 'waste' the god's time. Luckily for him, he has a loving boyfriend who wouldn't mind lending a hand. Though, it might cost him a kiss or two.

Fire Spirit faces turn red as turned his head slightly, eyes flashing in the low light. “I’m not sure I know how to do that.”
Wind Archer let out a breath, meeting Fire Spirit’s gaze. “Maybe that’s why we need each other.”
Fire Spirit reached up, his hand hovering near Wind Archer’s face. The heat of his fingertips was warm, a sharp contrast to the calm breeze that surrounded them. It was the kind of warmth that could burn, but instead, it simply lingered, leaving the air between them charged.
“I think,” Fire Spirit murmured, voice lower now, “that I might need you more than I’ve let on.”

Well, considering that it's Wind Archer? Just wait for them to come back on their own accord. They're probably just on a mission of some sort for Millennial Tree Cookie. Except Millennial Tree Cookie doesn't know where they are either, and has enlisted Fire Spirit's help in finding them. For some reason.
... Probably not a good sign that they were last heading towards Dark Enchantress's territory.

“I expected a warmer welcome?” Fire Spirit parrots. Wind Archer suppresses an amused smile at the scene in front of him as the silver arrow disintegrates. Fire Spirit makes a startled noise, catching himself in the air instead of falling.

Summary
Startling gasps were ripped from his throat, eyes being able to open now without the stinging agony of the chemical in them. The hot pain was now replaced with the coldness of the air on his head. He turned back and rested his hands on the lip of the sink, leaning back and looking at his captors.
Now able to think just a little bit more clearly, he heard talk of execution and torture. Which was... not ideal.
The tyrannical rule that he had unknowingly sealed his fate with was plotting his death and he was soaking wet. Saps truly couldn't believe his luck.
