Summary
Buck only means to go to confession once.
Instead, he finds himself returning to the same church again and again for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with religion and everything to do with one devastatingly kind priest named Eddie Diaz.
What starts as awkward conversations and accidental emotional vulnerability slowly becomes something far more dangerous: feelings.
Unfortunately for Buck, falling for a priest is a terrible idea.
Even more unfortunate?
It might not just be him.Bookmarked by buckkdiazz

Summary
"Hen is right; maybe our short-cut isn't as fool-proof as we first thought," Eddie said. "All that needs to happen for it to fall apart is for us to run into a homophobic nurse who'll demand proof before letting us in. And when we can't provide any proof--"
"--we might get banned from visiting altogether!" Buck finished. "No!"
"Yes," Eddie said. "But... legal paperwork? We could do that."
"Like... do what? Go to a lawyer?"
"No, Buck. I'm saying that if - in the future - we might need a marriage certificate to back up our claim, we should just--" He shrugged. "--get one."

Summary
“Eddie, come on, then we can make a regular schedule for practising! Just set the timer, kiss for 10 seconds, and move on. It makes sense, right? The more we do it, the more comfortable we’ll be.”
Eddie held his hands up, admitting defeat. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and clicked on the clock app, setting up a timer for 10 seconds.
“Alright, Buckley—“ He held up the phone to show Buck the timer. “—whenever you’re ready. Try not to go all Statue of Liberty on me this time.”
OR; Buck and Eddie have to convince Buck's parents that they're in love. It doesn't take much.

"You said you researched this place! You didn't realize it was a couple's retreat?" Eddie asked.
Buck dragged a hand down his face, "I guess I was just excited to spend the rest of the week with you, I must have missed it."
Eddie scoffs, moving further into the room, "yeah, clearly."
Buck was silent for a moment behind him, before speaking again, "Eddie I am so sorry, I get it if this makes you uncomfortable, we can just leave—"
“Buck," Eddie says cutting him off, "it’s fine. Who knows, it might even be fun. Let’s just make the most of it."
OR
Buck booked a four day camping retreat for him and Eddie, not realizing it was meant for couples. They decide to pretend, just for the trip.

Summary
He didn’t expect, however, that the memories of that moment, the time before he got struck, would come up as he climbed the ladder of the truck to help get an actor down on the set of Hotshots.
Or: Buck isn’t as healed as he assumes, Eddie surely catches on quick.
