“Evenin’ your radiance!” Eijirou greets, ever ecstatic.
The small smile that sat on Katsuki’s lips is promptly replaced with a scowl. “I told you to never call me that, fish-for-brains.”
"Call you what?"
Katsuki gives him a weak glare before stripping himself of his boots and pants. He sets Ego a few feet away from the flow of the waves and steps into the sea, wincing as the crispness of the water causes goosebumps to rise on his skin. He shivers, but, as he does with everything else, he powers through it. With a powerful sweep of both his arms, he splashes Eijirou with all of his might, only to end up grumbling when he chirps in delight and lets the water wash over him.
Katsuki can’t believe that a year or so ago, he’d been threatening to bludgeon this same merman for bothering him while he was playing his beloved violin.

bakugou receives a letter from an old friend asking for reconciliation, and he goes out to the beach to let his violin-playing express his emotions for him.

Summary
Worryingly looking Denki up and down with soft green eyes is a Cuddles ‘N Cream employee. He’s got wild hair and freckles that dot his face the way stars dot a galaxy. Denki's got no idea where he appeared from, but he’s thankful for his presence. The cat now seems to be trying to claw at the poor worker instead of him, but his firm grip on the animal’s middle keeps it from doing too much damage.
“Sorry about him - he’s got a little bit of a temper. Don’t you, Katchan?” the boy coos and narrowly avoids his eye getting scratched out of its socket.
And, holy shit, Denki might be in love.

Summary
“All done your highness,” one of the seamstresses says as she cuts one final piece of loose thread. Katsuki examines himself in the mirror.
As they fit the crown to his head, a memory of when he was younger appears in his mind. In it, he is sneaking into his parent’s room and opening a decorated box filled with his mother’s precious jewels. Beads, brooches, and glittering stones created a fluorescent explosion of light and color on his face, and he gaped in awe at the gems that remind him of candy. Katsuki compares that memory to himself today and grimaces at his reflection. The wonder of laying eyes on sparkling rubies and diamonds is nowhere to be found. Instead, there is misery coupled with a loathsome feeling that leaves his stomach bubbling.
He hates this life, more than he ever thought he would.

A very miserable Bakugou Katsuki receives a marvelous present for his birthday, one that kickstarts a chain of events that'll change his life forever.

Summary
Bakugou is just slinking into bed when his phone pings with new messages. They come in rapid succession, and he picks it up quickly so that the vibrating won’t wake Kaminari, who is still snoring softly in the bed across from his.
He sits up on his elbow to read through them, and exhales through his nose when he sees that they’re all from Kirishima. He’s asking him to come down to studio H, the one hidden away with broken mirrors and dusty barres. No one but him and Kirishima know of that studio, and him requesting that he come down when it’s a quarter to midnight can only mean what he’s suspected is true: his nerves have gotten the better of him. A frown pulls at his lips. He’s not angry with Kirishima, nor does he loathe the idea of helping him perfect his pas. No, it’s the performance he’s helping him with that annoys him.
Simply put, the casting to this year’s winter production of The Nutcracker is horseshit.

The light in the hallway flickers overhead. This had to be some cruel joke. Who in their right mind would ever leave a child on some random person’s doorstep? You couldn’t get more careless and irresponsible than that. Heart beating a mile a minute, he forgoes bringing the baby inside and instead hops over it and down the stairs. He sprints outside and, with eyes darting around, searches for movement. Keith expects to see a car preparing to drive away or someone running down the street. He sees nothing and shivers. He’d ran outside wearing nothing but a pair of gray briefs and mismatching socks. As he heads back to his apartment, he looks up at the sky. The stars were gone, and the sky was violet.
A fic in which Keith is a struggling single father who's trying his best and Lance is an artist who teaches Keith what it's like to have passion again.
