  Darry had thought for the longest time that his… thing with Paul would never end. It was silly. But of course it would end eventually. Even just having sex with a man was considered shameful. Paul wouldn’t want that for his life. Of course he wouldn’t. Who would want to live his life hiding a secret from the world that would put you to shame, even if it meant being with someone you… liked. Not loved, Darry reminded himself. Liked.

  Summary

  He looked down and saw a spider, its weird biter things piercing his skin.

  Steve nearly let out a scream, swatting the spider off his hand. The spider fell to the ground harmlessly, remaining still. When it didn’t get back up, Steve nudged it with his foot. It remained still.

  Steve bent down and picked it up hesitantly, examining the bug under his flashlight. The spider was blue and red. Why was it blue and red? Last Steve checked, blue and red spiders didn’t even exist. “What the hell…?” he muttered to himself, but his thoughts were cut off by the sound of a high-pitched scream.

  (I feel like I should tell all of you that this is a fic that is meant to be part of a serious, which will contain Jancy, Byler, and Steddie endgame. Just so you know.)
