For a little while, sound reached him as if through layers of wool, and the only thing he could feel was akin to a blade piercing through his chest. Something in him folded inward, the same instinctive reflex he felt when he put out his light that one time, long ago. He did not move. Did not think. Did not speak.
Varka laughed again, too fast and too loud, a tone that went against all the natural laws of sound.
“That’s impossible,” Varka fixed the hat on Klee’s head, looking just as sad as she did. “Sorry, little spark.”

Summary
“You didn’t tell me.” The familiar dry and sterile voice of his older brother greeted his line of hearing upon answering his phone.
“Why the hell are you calling me?” Rin scowled as his mood soured further when he heard Sae’s voice at the other end of the line.
A long, suffering sigh can be heard from the other before he spoke to him again.
“You’re still like that even if you got married.”
“Shut the fuck up you—.” Rin stopped midsentence when his last brother’s words hit him like a freight train. “Married? What the hell does that mean?” He demanded.
“Can’t believe that you’ve gotten senile too despite your young age. It’s all over the news. You and Kaiser got married and people saw both of you checking at the Hilton hotel. Congratulations.” Sae replied dryly while Rin just stood there stupefied at the news.
- Or Rin and Kaiser got married one night and spent their honeymoon in some luxurious hotel as the paparazzi had written.

“Aw, RinRin. I’m the hottest alpha in all senses, and I’m happy to know you find me hot.” Ryusei’s teasing lilted, void of malice. He tapped the spot next to him in invitation. “I owe you one, so I’ll keep you warm as much as you need.”
Rin didn't need to be asked twice and joined Ryusei on the bed, sitting cross-legged next to him to enjoy his inexhaustible source of warmth. He curled his fingers in the sleeves of his hoodie and placed his clenched hands near Ryusei’s body, hesitant to make physical contact for the first time.

After staring for a few seconds a pair of hands lifted his face, returning his gaze to Otoya’s green eyes, which looked at him without any visible expression, but he could feel an unusual hunger in the other’s gaze. Maybe it was concerning that he didn’t care about that at all.
Otoya’s face moved slowly and dangerously close to his. He could stop him if he really tried. He knew he had the strength to stop him before he managed to do whatever he was planning. But did he want to stop him?
The answer to that question scared him, but Otoya, who seemed far more decisive than him, was the one to take control of the situation and finally…
