Summary
Miss Azumabito wasn't the only Hizuru representative to attend the conference on Paradis. Alongside her came the reluctant, young Princess Kiyo of Hizuru, the stand-in for her highly-praised Prince of a father. But it was only for three days. Only three days on that island, and she could go back home. Once it was over, she would never have to see Paradis ever again.
However, fate has a sick sense of humor.
On Paradis, the princess discovers Mikasa, an Azumabito descendant who fills the sisterhood-shaped hole in Princess Kiyo's life. But within seconds, everything takes a sharp turn for the worst. One turn and the weight of the princess' past choices, feelings, and affairs came crashing back into her life. And nothing could do that better than seeing an old friend.
Among the backdrop of Eldia's rebirth and a tense climate of risking national trust, comes a story of kinship, longing, grief, love, and rekindling a flame that was never meant to be. Yes, it's that dramatic. Sue me.
