Reki made a run for it. He didn't dare look back, he was too ashamed to face Langa. His heels took a sharp turn to head to the other side of the road. Midway, headlights suddenly blared against him and he braced for the impact but it was cut short.
He awoke back to the day, the day where it all started.
Should he take this as an oppurtunity to change? Maybe then it wouldn't end up as badly as the timeline he just left.

Inho furrowed his brows, "Who the fuck is Seong Gihun?"
Junho wakes up as a sixteen-year-old and remembers everything. The games, the blood, the betrayals. He remembers how Inho’s path to join the Games was paved with loneliness and bitterness.
He’s convinced that if Inho and Gihun had found each other earlier, they might've been able to save each other from the isolation and self-destruction that eventually consumed them.

“No, when you—when you smile like that,” Gi-hun says, shuddering. “It makes me miss him.”
“Who?” In-ho asks. He can’t help it, Gi-hun always piques his curiosity. “Jung-bae sshi? Sang-woo sshi?” He uses their real names for once. After hearing some of Gi-hun’s stories on the rare occasions he felt like sharing, In-ho can't help but use their names in place of their numbers. It makes In-ho feel like he knows them, too.
He's often thought about shooting Jung-bae with shaking hands, watching the hopelessness in his eyes as he turned to face Gi-hun. But what felt like pricks of guilt then, feels like sharp pains in his chest these days. He rolls around at night, and thinks, and feels. It’s a mystery why.
In-ho looks at Gi-hun sitting in front of him, the visceral reaction to Jung-bae’s name still strong as ever.
Is it really a mystery anymore? The influence of Seong Gi-hun and the thousand souls he carries with him is quite strong.
or: gi-hun and in-ho make it out alive, but gi-hun wants nothing to do with the latter. unfortunately, in-ho has other plans.

“That’s my fish,” In-ho snaps, taking a step closer. His voice echoes through the narrow space, sharp with rage.
The man chuckles softly. “I mean… define 'your' fish.”
In-ho blinks, momentarily stunned by the audacity. “Are you serious? You stole it. You've been stealing my fish.”
“Borrowing,” the man corrects, raising his finger. “Relocating is the better word, actually. You keep buying more anyway, so I figured-”
“Relocating? Are you serious right now?” In-ho's voice rises, disbelief flooding his system. He stalks closer, fists clenched. “You’ve been breaking into my apartment and stealing my fish like it’s some kind of hobby?”
or Five times In-ho came home to an empty fishbowl, and the one time he finally caught the culprit.

“Wait,” Junho starts, eyes wide, “you’re not seriously suggesting Professor Hwang's…jealous?”
Saebyok leans back and crosses her arms. “Are you saying it’s impossible?”
Junho gapes at her for a moment, wondering if he had misunderstood this whole conversation. When Saebyok only raises an eyebrow in response, he splutters, “My brother’s not g—“ He lowers his voice as a ghost floats past their table, “—Professor Hwang isn’t gay!”
The Gryffindor narrows her eyes, clearly unimpressed.
“I mean,” Junho says quickly, "I wouldn’t have a problem with it if he is, but I would know by now if he were!”
The silence that follows is damning, and Junho wishes he could somehow Obliviate the whole lot of them without getting into trouble. “He’s only ever dated women,” he adds weakly.
(aka, the hp au where Junho finds out his brother is madly in love with Gihun and decides to help him out a bit)
