Larissa always had her hair up, believing that she did her best work when she wasn’t distracted by fly-away hair in her face or down her back. Gomez had actually once suggested that she just cut it so that she didn’t even have to bother brushing it out and fixing it up every morning. But Larissa had refused, strangely proud of her hair, even if she did hide it every day.
Morticia watched her friends from across the room, her heart thawing at the sight of her best friend being so well taken care of. It was a rare moment when the worried crease between Larissa’s eyebrows smoothed over and she was simply content, and Morticia savored those moments like the last piece of cake at a party.

After the fire, the faculty quarters in Nevermore are not safe to live in. As the students go back to their homes, the principal gets offered a room in a certain gloomy mansion. Out of other viable options, she agrees. After all, it’s only until the school gets patched back up together. What could possibly go wrong?
A slightly AU, alternative ending fic filled with wacky domestic fluff, trauma processing, classical music references, and, of course, lots of feelings and angst. Endgame Gomez/Morticia/Larissa because polyamory is the solution to every love triangle.
