Summary
When Suguru decides to just leave them, there is no explanation, no reason offered to make up for his folly. Just some words thrown at Satoru's face that keep him waking in cold sweat in the middle of the night.
Sadly, Suguru forgot to take into account Satoru's other half, Shoko. And Shoko refuses, refuses to see her favorite person shatter because of some incomprehensible break-up.
She will fix things. Whatever it takes.

Summary
Shoko settles into her new normal: school and missions and what might be anger issues and keeping Satoru afloat while Suguru seems more and more distant.
When Satoru brings her to see the two kids he's been watching over, she starts to feel like they'll be okay again. Suguru or no Suguru, their lives can't be put on hold, she's got something to look forward to now. There's not long left for them in Jujutsu High anyway.

He awakes in the middle of a busy street, one he avoids at all cost in his time. The nausea grips him just as tight as always.
Shoko's formula worked, he realizes when he sees the ad boards, promoting a new phone. One that is outdated, in his time. In eleven years.
He knows exactly where Shoko and his technique had managed to send him, right before it all went down. The day everything unraveled for him, in a way. He can't breathe and he closes his eyes so harshly it burns somewhere behind his retina.
He cannot fuck this up. He has to stop Suguru from defecting, from leaving him behind. If he fails this, nothing matters anyway.
It's always been them.
