Summary
When Edward Teach throws a ring down a wishing well, he doesn't expect his wish to be heard, and when a creature follows him back onto the ship, demanding to know his name, Edward doesn't turn him away. But wishes are fickle things and the beings that have the power to grant them are even more mercurial.
Or Ed wants to be King of the Ocean and Izzy Hands is a Tuath Dé who's feeling reckless.

Summary
A secret magical school to the tune of a tarot-driven, solo journaling game!
And all the good stuff is here: a newcomer to a hidden, arcane world. A rival system that pits talented mages against one another in a duel before graduation. Instant antagonism but also instant attraction. Ghosts! Drugs! Extra-dimensional beings from wherever magic is from! Gettin' nude for the moon!
I mean, seriously, I decided the most entertaining person to send to magical grad school was an affectionately romanticized version of my actual 23 year old self. It's an IRL AU, but with magic and a tall, sad, tortured soul who only wears black (swoon). When told about this plan, someone whose opinion I hold dear said, "whenever you talk about this time in your life I feel like I'm looking at polaroids of Icarus showing off his sick wax wings."
