“I have a kid coming in for a private in…” Phil checked his watch. “About ten minutes, but I have a bit of paperwork to do right now about some other kid wanting to join up.” Phil looked a bit sheepish, concerning Wilbur even more. Phil continued, “Would you mind covering his lesson for a bit? It’ll only be about an hour and a half before I’m done.”
Wilbur did the only thing he could think of to save his ass if he got caught.
“Sure thing, Dadza! I’m on it!” Wilbur exclaimed, smiling. He even added a thumbs up for good measure, which made Phil look at him suspiciously.
“Alright, as long as you’re not,” Phil gave him a look, “up to anything.”
