The name alone has Yuji bristling. The hairs on the back of his neck stand, scarred skin prickling from all the injuries he has that person, that curse to thank for. Memories of that battle are nothing more than fury-inducing to him. The visions of Megumi with dark ink on his body haunt his nightmares.
“What happened?” He channels the calmest tone he can utter, but he has always worn his heart on his sleeve. Yuji's grip tightens on Megumi's kneecaps. Something fiery and dangerous is boiling in his gut.
“Yuji.” Megumi responds, his tone a warning.
“Tell me what happened.” Yuji demands now.OR
Megumi never tells Yuji about the bath, the ritual that caused him to develop aquaphobia. When he nearly drowns during a mission his very serious fear and unhealthy tendencies are exposed.

“Dr’nk–” He replies, since that’s the only thing he can be sure about right now.
“We’ve been looking for you for half an hour,” he tells him. “You’re in the bathroom right now.”
“G’t out thn…” He manages to lift his hand a few inches out of his lap, intending to swing at him, but he just sways in place, muscles loose and failing.
“No,” Yuta says calmly. “Can you tell me how much you drank?”

The only two people who have ever cared about him are his sister Tsumiki and his mother's childhood friend Satoru Gojo. Gojo is the only person in his life that has ever been like a parent to him. He practically raised Megumi and his sister and was always there when they needed him. Meugmi is slow to trust and love, but holds his family and his two best friends very close to his chest. But now, at the beginning of his sophomore year of high school, Tsumiki has gone away to college and his conflicting emotions about one of his friends have thrown him for a loop. But still, Gojo is there. He doesn't leave and remains an ever constant persence in Megumi's life, which he is eternally grateful for. But sometimes, it's not enough to silence the voices in his head, however much Gojo tries.
