He smells the distinct scent of rain on earth and… blood? Yakumo immediately opens his eyes when the memories rush into him. He accidentally fell into a high depression, and all he could remember before he passed out was Dante reaching out to catch him.
Dante lies unconscious beneath him, his complexion extremely pallid and unmoving. Tears spring to his eyes when he realizes that Dante had taken most of the brunt of the fall for him. Yakumo notices blood in the water pooling underneath Dante and soon finds the source of it; a piece of sharp wood on Dante’s right stomach.
“If being a fool can help your fever, then I… will stay as a fool.” Hasn’t he endured more pain in these past few hours for Dante? “Sun Lord Dante, I promised to bring you home to Mr. Eiden, to Solaria… to your people and everyone else, so I… I will do anything. Everything.”

Neither he nor Edmond expected the Light Territory to suddenly get hit by a heavy blizzard; or for them to get caught in the middle of it. In this situation, the Kleinmas Party tonight will have to be postponed as Eiden and the others are currently trapped outside the mansion.
Now safe and sound, Yakumo basks himself in the warmth of the blanket and a new sweater swaddling him, as well as the pleasant company of Edmond.

Summary
Quincy comes home late to Yakumo asleep on the couch and dinner on the table, even though he had told Yakumo to buy dinner for himself and sleep early. Yakumo had only recently recovered from a bad cold that left him ill for a week, and Quincy didn't want to risk Yakumo getting sick again.
Still, when he has Yakumo on his lap, pleading sweetly while mouthing along the lines of his jaw, Quincy can't resist the desire pooling in his stomach. He can't resist kissing Yakumo's lips, holding Yakumo within his embrace.

For Quincy, the sight of Yakumo standing in front of his home isn't all that strange. What makes him frown, however, isn’t the strikingly hefty belongings Yakumo brings with him, or his disheveled appearance. It’s the dark shadows underlining his glistening eyes.
Was it another nightmare that kept him awake all night? No. Something is awfully wrong with Yakumo, way beyond mere fatigue caused by a nightmare. Quincy can’t overlook his cry for help, no matter how troublesome it is.
And in the middle of it, Quincy ponders on the newly-emerged feelings towards Yakumo.

Waking up from a horrifying nightmare isn't something unusual for Yakumo. And tonight, a dream where he accidentally killed Eiden left him sleepless and anxious. He wants to seek Eiden's company for comfort, but the pleasure-filled noises coming from Eiden's bedroom change his mind. After all, he refuses to disturb Eiden's time with Quincy.
He's ready to spend the rest of the night in the kitchen, all cold and alone, cooking something or preparing meals for tomorrow. Hopefully working on something might distract him. But to his surprise, he's given a better outcome by Quincy and Eiden; to sleep together with them.
Yakumo can’t refuse it. He doesn’t want to.
