“I may have caused a tad more damage than I’d intended. Nothing too serious though! Should be no trouble at all to heal up!” As always, with surprising care, he bandaged up Vox’s wounds. It made Vox feel as if Alastor did care; even a little. The thought was nice.
Alastor grasped the bottom of Vox’s head, now tilting it to the opposite side. He hadn’t bitten him there this time. “Al, what are doing?” Vox glanced at Alastor with a raised brow.
“Hmm, it looks as though you didn’t heal all your wounds from last time,” Alastor commented with amusement, trailing a delicate red claw down pale healed scars. “You let them heal all on their own. I wonder why?” He inquired, giving Vox a sly look.
Vox tensed. Shit.

Hell had won the battle against heaven. Adam, the first born man, was dead and that bitch lute had retreated, seriously injured. Yet Vox couldn't feel worse and more defeated.
Alastor couldn't be gone, Vox needed someone to fight. He needed a rival.
There was no news anywhere about if he lived or died and it had Vox stressed.
He couldn't exactly just snoop on the hotel either. Lucifer Morningstar was there and he was quite the threat. They were also being much tighter on their security and the privacy of their guests, since the Vox situation.
Especially Alastor's privacy, and it seemed he was taking his sweet time to announce if he still lived or not, almost as if he could sense Vox's anxiety and anticipation.
So the TV overlord decided to do what any sound sinner would do. He decided to write steamy hot smut about him and his rival.

“Woah, woah,” Vox says. “Hold your horses. What—”
“This isn’t right.” The shadows around him swirl and turn darker and darker, sharpening into points. His eyes are shining red. “What did you do to me?”
“I didn’t do shit!” Vox sits up and crawls forward—Alastor presses himself back against the wall, ears flattened over his head. The hard turn from predator to scared-looking prey is making Vox’s head swim. “How is it my fault you’re rock hard?”
And he really is, Vox’s hindbrain notes. If anything, he seems to have gotten thicker—Vox can see the outline of him perfectly. Alastor curls in on himself when he notices Vox’s eyes.
“I don’t,” he starts, and then stops. That seems to be the end of the sentence.
“Well, you clearly are," Vox spits, frustrated. “I really don’t get the hassle here. I mean, we’ve been. Uh.” Together is a loaded word, but so is dating. Fraternizing? No, that sounds even more sordid. “Companionable. Right? This isn’t out of the, uh. Range of options.”

After Vox gets pushed too far by Valentino Charlie brings him to the Hazbin Hotel so he can recover, while Vox is there him and Alastor strike a deal that could either bring them closer together or cause Vox to lose everything he has bleed to create.
