“I am offering you a hefty sum of gold,” the man’s voice pleaded with you.
“I am well aware of the amount you offer, but you must think me mad to go anywhere near Miroh.”
“Thrice the amount, then.”
You paused.
Swallowing your mouthful of food, you placed your fork back on the table. Tonguing your cheek and shifting on your seat.
Individually, you cracked each knuckle on both hands, your mind reeling.

Summary
The dead city of Katrovski still suffers after a meteor struck the planet, killing half of Earth's population a century ago. The protagonist has spent half her life on the cold, gray streets, signing up for fights in an attempt to sustain herself with money. One day, after the powerful and direct girl wins a bag of money, a group of strangers emerges from the shadows. Their flirtatious comments contrast with their clear motive: theft. When the leader of the dangerous yet comical group reveals his face, there’s a flicker of familiarity behind his crooked smile and cold gaze. As the leader tries to grab the bag, her attempt to protect it reveals something that makes the leader see her as more valuable than her money.
Despite her rare abilities, the Stray Kids gang manages to kidnap her, but things get truly interesting when the past catches up with the present, and the power balance within the group becomes unstable. They all have the same goal, the palace Lumiere, but a girl surrounded by eight hungry guys makes the journey intense with desperation, jealousy and unexpected romance.

Summary
