Summary
Wonwoo tips his head back, eyes squeezing shut. The yacht rocks beneath them, and it feels like the whole world tilts with it.
“I don’t…” The words rasp out, raw. “I don’t know who I am anymore when I’m not this.” It stings to admit it, like peeling away his own skin. “I can’t remember who I used to be.”
Mingyu’s grip loosens. His thumbs brush over the insides of Wonwoo's wrists.
"I do.”
Jeon Wonwoo and Kim Mingyu are enemies. Or at least, that's what they're told they have to be.

Summary
With a swallow, Wonwoo looks up, eyes widening in confusion as the haze clears from them. He blinks against the dim, sickly yellow light of the room, then breathes out through his nose. When he speaks, the words come out soft. Fearful.
“W-Where… am I? Who are you?”
Mingyu’s mouth presses into a tight line. The act is almost convincing. Almost.
“Really?” Mingyu’s voice is flat. Unimpressed. “We’re doing this?”

Two hundred and sixty-three years of war, and yet the human heart has remained stubbornly unchanged. It hasn’t evolved with the relentless march of time. It still yearns for a love that endures, and a way to protect, to hold, to cherish it. But in a world like this, there is no easy way to do any of that. Love here is fragile, worn thin by fear, sharpened into something raw and jagged. It cuts deep, even when you try to shield yourself. Especially then. And god, does Wonwoo love Kim Mingyu.
⊷ ┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄
In the year 2587, humanity teeters on the brink of extinction. The Legion, a self-sustaining AI army once hailed as mankind’s greatest achievement, has rebelled, turning against its creators.
The remnants of Seoul have become Seonjin, a war-ravaged city struggling to hang on. Wonwoo, a weary doctor, works tirelessly to save lives as the world crumbles around him. On the front lines, Mingyu fights to protect what little is left of their home. In a future where love is as fragile as survival itself, can they hold on to each other even while everything else falls apart?

Summary
Wonwoo’s a little buzzed from the bar, tired after hours of half-hearted conversations with co-workers whose names he can never seem to remember, but his senses are still sharp. And so, he notices the shift in the air as he crosses the street, just a block away from making it home safely. The warning is subtle at first, just a familiar prickle of unease at the back of his neck. Most times, it’s easy enough to convince himself he’s imagining it, that the feeling of being watched is nothing more than a trick of his nerves.
Not tonight.

Maybe especially not for Mingyu.
