Summary
(The Beating Heart of Hell: Sequel)
After everything that Lucifer has been through the previous year; the pain, heartache and healing he's finally starting to feel somewhat normal. Now he has to deal with these confusing feelings from a certain Radio Demon who kissed him New Year's Eve. Why? He isn't exactly sure.
But that's not all he has to worry about now as he receives a strange note in the mail and from that point on things go from bad to worse as Lucifer gets news of the possibility of his estranged wife returning.
This couldn't come at worst time.

Summary
A month after the failed Extermination and things are looking up for Lucifer. He's moved in to reconnect with his daughter, he's beginning to rekindle his relationships with the other Sins, and he's finally taking a more active roll in Hell's politics. Lucifer is only a little burnt out from all the socializing and responsibilities after isolating himself for a hundred years. A little stress never killed anybody.
He totally wasn't panicking at the thought that Heaven deemed it a good idea to send three of his estranged brothers down to assess the potential of Charlie's Hazbin Hotel and he totally, absolutely wasn't worried about the fact that the only thing keeping him sane during their stay happened to be a pompous, cannibalistic Radio Demon with a knack of getting on every single one of his nerves.
Yeah, Lucifer was totally fine.
Spoiler Alert: Lucifer was absolutely not fine.

“Look, I never wanted Charlie to get involved in what I was doin”, but it ain’t my fault alright! I didn’t ask her to come over to da studio dat day!” Angel argued.
“And yet it still happened! You’re lucky Charlie likes you, otherwise you would’ve been out of here long ago!” Lucifer growled, tail lashing angrily. Angel’s expression fell to one of hurt. Was…was that true? Was the only reason he was even allowed to stay in the hotel because Charlie liked him? Did everyone else feel like Lucifer did? Lucifer’s horns, wings and tail disappeared, though his scowl remained. He turned his back to the spider, ignoring the books he was stacking before, and walked out of the library, leaving Angel alone to process what had just happened.

So, CrowsAce gave me permission to wrote an AU/Crossover between her fic "I've got my mind set on you" and my "Alastor and the Little King of Hell"!
In this story, very much traumatized Lucifer from CrowsAce's work ends up in the alternate universe, where he meets his alternate self - who is living happily in queerplatonic relationship with this world's version of Alastor, having a good relationship with his daughter, and who uses age-regression to deal with his issues.
It's obvious that Luci isn't immediately ready to trust this "Lulu", and absolutelu not to his "Al"; but as time passes, the trauma left by the treatment he received from his world's Alastor start to heal. Meanwhile, in the world he left behind, the Hazbin Hotel crew is trying to find out what exactly happened to Lucifer... and was it a very good idea to trust Alastor with his well-being in the first place.
