Summary
Bruce finds out that a rival company plans to release a toy line of the Justice League. Said rival company is named LexCorp and a humanitarian's worst nightmare and there’s no way he will let the League be attached to people as abhorrent as that. So he quickly has all the superhero names trademarked. The problem? Now he actually has to use the JL and its assorted heroes in commerce somehow or risk losing the trademark. Hence, Wayne Enterprises launching a toy line.
Which would be totally fine if the Justice League actually knew that Bruce Wayne and Batman are the same person... As it is, they're not pleased that this bimbo billionaire is profiting off of them. They demand to get a say in the matter (also, why is the Superman action figure arguably the hottest piece of plastic ever seen, what the fuck?).

Summary
Bruce doesn’t know what’s wrong with his child, but he’s pretty sure kids aren’t meant to work like this.
From the day he had looked up into the tops of the circus tent and saw a frightened mirror image of a boy who had just experienced the worst day of his life, Bruce had instantly gone into emergency mode.
The Gotham PD had wanted to pass the boy off into the care of the circus. The circus had mumbled underneath their breaths about superstitions, about not having a boy like that with them, about not being able to handle something like Dick. So GCPD, not knowing what to do, had started talking about one of the handful of overburdened boy homes that handles a majority of Gotham’s unlucky orphans.
All the while, the camera lights flash bright and loud, wanting to know everything.
Bruce couldn’t let that happen.
Not then, not ever again.

Bruce is trying his best to protect the city that he loves. He doesn't know how exactly his Robins came to be- they're not fully human, not even at all. All he knows is that he wants to keep them safe.

Summary
Dick Grayson has many secrets. He's a vigilante, he's a Bat, secrets are just a part of his life. There's one secret though that he has had since before his parents died. A secret that he has never told anyone, not his friends, not his siblings, and not Bruce.
Or, Dick's world has fallen apart again the weight of his secret growing with the years, the only question that remains is will it crush him or will it help him come home?

Summary
Then he took a deep breath and he changed. He ironed out every fold in his posture and his face until he looked like Superman again. His shoulders were broad, his gaze was confident, and his smile showed no sign of embarrassment or fear.
It’s genuinely uncomfortable to watch.
Especially since Bruce knows that change. He’s seen it in the mirror before entering parties or nightclubs. He’s always referred to it, internally, as 'putting on my better face.' The façade is his least favourite part of the day, ranking just below 'getting punched by supervillains.'
The idea that Superman is just Kal's better face, that would explain a lot.
It would also mean Bruce isn't alone.
