Seokjin leans forward and pats Taehyung on the shoulder. “Thanks for telling me, but I don’t think a student employing the help of a demon is responsible for my accident.”
Seokjin's a med student - he doesn't have time to get caught up in silly, childish rumours about demons on websites or get involved with the police on cases he has nothing to do with - all he wants to do is keep his head down, live his life, and try not to get swept away by the sea.

Seokjin loved his King, loved him as much as any citizen could love their King, but he did not desire him. He was like a deity to Seokjin, but that didn’t mean he was comfortable with the way he spoke about him in front of all those people, like he was one of his offered wives that came carrying a dowry when he was nothing of the sort. He was a knight, with over a year of war under his belt and the many years of training and battle that came before it.
He was not meant to be kept, regardless of his gender. He was meant to fight and die for their Kingdom, and to have a wife that would bear a son that would do the same.
