Summary
Rory never really has known what to do with herself. Having wasted three years of her life on a college education that she always knew she was going to hate, she suddenly makes the decision to take over her late grandfather's farm.
The valley the farm is in has never been like the rest of the world. There, the sun burns brighter, the water is clearer and the flowers bloom more colourfully than anywhere else. It has always felt like magic. And with Rory constantly feeling one step out of sync with the rest of the world, it could be exactly what she needs to get herself back on track.
She just hadn't expected an actual wizard to appear at her doorstep, positively seething at the fact that she had not responded to his letter.

❤️ CH: 25 - Reader (Rory) grew up with her dad abusing her mom, she moved to the valley and quickly learns about magic from Rasmodius. He’s unsociable at first but after multiple run ins and her pushing they grow closer. At first he seems to admire her magical capabilities too much as if wanting to use them, later on he reveals that was true but after they kissed he felt too bad to continue with those feelings. She ends up finding the star drop and splits it with him, it sends them to another world in a way and they become official. Her mom had been living with her on the farm for a while and Shane offers her an apartment in the city. After the dad comes back to harass them at a festival the mom finally takes it. Rory and Rasmodius are married, “I like to see her exist in the world, I realize. It’s rather like she’s better at it than anyone else. That she inhabits the earth with a comfort I haven’t seen before.” -

I proposed this on my Discord (welcome to any of my readers!) and couldn't stop myself from bringing this to life.

⭐️ CH: 25 - Reader is going under false name and has fake IDs, she is running from her past though we don't fully know why yet. We know her mother and grandmother are alive and one of them (or both?) helped hide her death. She is pronounced missing and dead from a car crash (which we later find out the car she owned was a red corvette, which Papyrus now owns and it still has a bow with her initials on the front mirror) I think she is originally living is Louisiana but now she lives somewhere else. Her family sucks. She wants to be a teacher but was working as an assistant to 2 famous people before Papyrus, Adaline and Claude (who sexually harassed her and forced her to sign an NDA if he signed her up with Papyrus' group, which makes a lot more and is like...gov level) Brenda is Papyrus' manager, she was good at first but now there are signs she's working against Reader and Paps relationship? Papyrus initially at the beginning of this story was a symbol that monsters aren't all that different from humans, that they can coexist. But, after a peace rally where Dogaressa protecting Asgore got shot and killed, he realized that his existence is to stave off genocide. People that have supported him or worked with him have been killed off slowly and monsters keep going missing. After Dogaressa's death which Reader witnessed since she was on stage with everyone (she actually yelled out sniper before they made the shot, leading to Dogaressa instinctually getting in front of Asgore) she painted her and gifted it to her husband Dogamy. Soulmates are a thing if a monster touches hands with another they will know if they are fated for each other through their soul, but humans wouldn't know like they would. Papyrus knows right now that Reader is his soulmate, but doesn't know how to approach the subject. Reader is now fully in love with him and knows that he likes her just from context, but neither are doing anything about it right now. Sans and Grillby have been together for more than 10 years but Sans is afraid of finding out if they are soulmates. Reader got 2 badges of honor from Asgore after Dogaressa's death. This is reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly good so far -
