Sebastian shifted in his sleep, this time moving closer. Too close. He seemed to roll right into him, his head against Sam’s back. Sam stopped breathing again, skin prickling on edge, heart pounding with fear and excitement. He told himself to calm down, that Seb was just tossing and turning and he’d probably move away again soon.
But then Sebastian moved and it wasn't turning back around, rather it was moving even closer, his hips meeting Sam’s ass.
“I can’t help it anymore,” Sebastian whispered, sounding so torn, almost pained.
Sam and Sebastian's friendship is the most important thing in the world to them. For years they've skated this line, neither willing to ruin what they have in case the other doesn't feel the same.
That is, until Sebastian finally cracks.

Remus can hear Sirius shuffling around in the dark for several moments before he hears the familiar drag of the IV pole across linoleum tiles and Sirius quickly scrambles onto the bed.
“Hi,” Remus whispers again.
“Hi,” Sirius whispers. In a moment, Sirius is leaning close to Remus.
“What’re these from?” Sirius whispers, he runs his fingers gently across the scars running across Remus’s face. The silver scars glow in the dim lighting. The skin on Sirius’s fingers is smooth and soft, catching on the rough knots of scar tissue bunching across Remus’s face.
“Turns out I’m allergic to oxygen cannulas sometimes,” Remus says. His voice catches in his throat with Sirius so close to him. He can even feel Sirius’s soft breath on his face.
“Sometimes?”
“Only sometimes. My body works in mysterious ways.”
“Is that why you’re here?”
“Something like that.”Or the story of a chronically ill Remus meeting Sirius while in the hospital for what seems like a regular visit. Sirius isn’t quite as used to the hospital, this visit being his first. How is either boy supposed to cope with massive life changes when they’re each across from the most beautiful person they’ve ever seen?
