Zuko hated to admit he was terrified as he stared these creatures down with their inhuman eyes fixed sharply on him.

Zuko is sent on a mission by Firelord Azulon to resolve the reason why Fire Navy ships are being sunk and their crews mysteriously end up drifting on life boats to shore with no memory of what happened. To get to the bottom of this, he will be forced into a fate laid before him by La itself that'll take him to the bottom of the ocean. Little did he know that his heart has fallen under the siren song of a fierce underwater warrior who swept him away from the surface to show the Fire Prince his otherworldly home and endangered culture.

Summary
Sokka and Zuko have been best friends since high school. They didn't start on the right foot, but have since made a life long bond.
Now having gone through college at Ba Sing Se University together as well and have since graduated and stayed in extremely close contact. Like three city blocks close. After all, they're best friends.
After all this time and effort of laying down the dozens of egg shells used to walk around each other and their respective feelings, they throw caution to the wind and turn the egg shells that where so delicately placed into dust.

Summary
How bout instead of Zuko betraying the gaang and his uncle, he frees them and gets imprisoned in the Boiling Rock. The treatment is terrible for a small person such as himself, especially as a hidden omega. He fears that he might go into heat as he has no access to his heat suppressants. But he recognizes those icy blue eyes that made his inner omega shiver.

He's grown not to mind it much, but it's like a humiliation ritual when his villages little mate matching event takes place .
No one's going to choose him, so why are they forcing him to participate?
