Summary
When Stiles found out he might have the same troubles as his mom, he immediately threw himself into music. He'd never been any good with the playing part, but he decided to try again. He needed something to focus on, something that could take him away from the grim reality of his grim reality for a little while.
When his diagnosis came back clean, Stiles continued to play. Now it wasn't for healing. It was for celebration: to celebrate his health and to honor his mom. And, well, maybe a little bit for another reason.

Summary
Imagine what it would feel like to always have someone standing right behind you. Close enough to feel their electricity, maybe even the heat of their body. You'll catch a random glimpse of something out of the corner of your eye, but nothing more than a shadow, like some fucked up Peter Pan. You feel that presence all the time. It's usually so faint you can ignore it, but sometimes it's so overwhelming that it drowns you like a hot, wet blanket. Like what it must feel like to have someone breathing over your mouth and nose while you struggle, and all your screams get swallowed up by that maw.
That's what it feels like to get possessed by a demon, and that's what happens to Stiles in the dirty, dark parking lot outside of the loft.

Summary
The nogitsune takes it all; all the fear and pain. He revels in it. The way it shocks his nerves and sets his teeth on edge in the most delicious way. The way it gets his dick hard, and breaks him out in a sweat under all of the rain on his skin. He can taste the salt in the beads of water that run down his face, and he suddenly wants to savor every inch of Scott.

Summary
It's obviously rude and insensitive when Derek grabs Stiles by the wrist and yanks his thumb out of his mouth, but Stiles just snorts a laugh when it's immediately replaced with one of the bigger curly fries out of his Arbys' bag.
“You're going to get buck teeth,” Derek says, folding his arms and looking pointedly at Stiles.
“I am not–” Stiles cuts himself off as his tongue darts over his upper lip. He makes a face and runs it over over his front teeth, lip skinning up in an unintentional baring of teeth. “Do I have buck teeth?” he panics. The curly fries are forgotten and dropped into the trash.

Summary
"Hey, do you want to go visit mom today?" Stiles asks as he steps into his brother’s room, slender fingers moving to pick at the fraying wrist of his hoodie. "You know, because it’s Christmas in a few days. We could do that thing we used to do when we were kids that she loves so much."
Stuart grins softly and pushes himself up to sit cross-legged on his bed. “Seriously? You want to?"

Summary
The list was Stiles' idea.
On the back of the piece of notebook paper they'd been using to keep a tally of games won, he wrote down 'kiss me, dumbass' and crossed it off as a joke, laughing like it was something that they'd gotten out of the way, so now they'd never have to wonder what it was like. Now they'd never have to suffer through an awkward drunk moment when they were older.
Scott, however, was the one that grabbed the list and wrote 'jerk off together watching porn' on the second line, before giving Stiles a challenging little smile and grabbing his laptop. Forty-five minutes later, Stiles had crossed that one off the list as well, with a very satisfied smile.

Summary
“Hey,” Stuart says in a hushed, almost hopeful tone as he reaches out to grab Stiles by the shoulder, turning his attention back. “If you let me kiss you, I promise it'll make you happy.”
“Stu–” Stiles says softly as his brother crowds him slightly, Stuart's other hand reaching up to stroke his thumb lightly along Stiles' cheekbone, and despite the welling in his chest, like he suddenly wants to cry, Stiles leans into it. He resigns. He concedes.
Because he does want to be happy. Wasn't that the point of all this?

Summary
“Just tell me, Derek,” Stiles says quietly. “Is it... is my dad okay?”
“Your dad's fine,” Derek says before pressing his lips together against an exhale. “It's about Stuart.”
“What about him?” Stiles asks.
“Stuart doesn't really exist,” Derek says, with such a calm certainty that it can't be argued with. “There is no Stuart, and there never has been. You don't have a brother, Stiles.”

Summary
“Where are you posted tonight?” Allison asks as they come to a stop near one of the many checkpoints.
“The abandoned Shell station on the east side of town,” Lydia sighs dramatically as she glances in that very direction. “How thrilling for me, right? Spending the night in an old, disgusting gas station, without any chocolate or People magazines to keep me company.”
They share an ironic laugh, because it's been years since either of them had even heard of anyone seeing any chocolate or a copy of People magazine. Scott and Stiles are always joking about turning the old high school lacrosse field into a Thunderdome, and Lydia's just thrilled that she looks so good in body armor.

Summary
Peter wasn't a wizard or a sorcerer or anything like that, because that would be ridiculous. He hadn't been born with any sort of spark. What he was was a lore-keeper, and with that came even more power than any witch, wolf, or man with a weapon could ever possess.
It felt odd, not having free will. Not necessarily bad, because Lydia found herself quickly relying on Peter's commands and demands, and fulfilling them made her happy, but she remembered what it used to feel like to be able to make her own choices.
But she didn't resent Peter, not really. Not in any way that counted.

Stiles climbed into Peter's lap just as the older man's fingers found what he hoped was medical lubricant. It was all water based, right? It should be safe. He only hoped it wasn't the defibrillator gel.
