The car decoy has been prepared, with the bomb set to go off inside. All Twilight needed to do was make it seem as if he was inside when it goes off, causing an explosion and a fiery mess.
Save for a few identifying accessories, such as his pin and watch, his corpse would be nearly unrecognizable. This kind of plan isn’t foreign to Twilight. It isn’t his first time doing such an event, nor is it for his fellow agents.
It would simply be one of the many times he’s discarded an identity.

The first time she realized that he wasn’t who he appeared to be was when he revealed himself to be a SSS officer, catching her red handed after she was finishing up a job.
A gentlemanly and charming act that became twisted. An innocent smile tainted by blood and subtle taunts. Gestures of kindness and concern that no matter how much they made Yor’s heart waver, she knew were not all that pure.

Twilight shakes his head. It would be suspicious to appear when “Loid Forger” is on a business trip, he explains. It wouldn’t be right to appear.

How there are still bandages, albeit small, still covering his skin underneath his clothes. Every moment, every second she spends right now is all to make sure that he doesn’t collapse. She knows that it isn’t likely. She knows that he can walk fine now. There isn’t any need to wait with bated breath, like she did sitting at his hospital bed.
But worry is an awful thing. A thing that becomes a tangled mess in her heart and mind, never letting her rest.
