Summary
Courtney doesn't miss the way her gaze flicks down her body, and she can't tell whether Mandy looked at her ribs or her augments, but it makes her want to curl in on herself either way.
"Yeah, I have," she mumbles, watching Mandy put the pack of wipes back into the First-Aid kit and instead pull out a fresh dressing.
"Good," Mandy says, giving Courtney a small, genuine smile before leaning forward to place a gentle kiss on her cheek. "I'm proud of you."
Courtney mutters an almost inaudible 'shut up', but she feels heat creeping up her cheeks at Mandy's words. Mandy gives her a quiet chuckle, eventually opening the dressing and placing it over the wound before leaning forward to press a little kiss to the bandage.

For months now, Invisigal has struggled with understanding how she deserves forgiveness. Luckily, Blonde Blazer is here to reassure her.

Summary
"I'm admiring. There's a difference," Courtney retorts. She's always taken badly to being called out, but when Robert does it, her responses always lack their usual heat. God, she's becoming such a loser.
"Admiring what? I look and feel like I'm dying," for some weird reason, his voice has more emotion in it when he's sick compared to normally, and it makes her laugh softly. Despite the hint of outrage in his tone when he spoke no more than ten seconds ago, Robert cracks a small smile as she giggles.
"Yeah, but you look pathetic. It's kinda funny," she says, and she hopes the blow of the insult is softened by the gentle look in her eyes. When Robert's only response is a small, playful frown, she assumes it worked. "But it's okay, I like pathetic."

Robert, ever the workaholic, falls ill, and it's Invisigal's job to look after him.

Summary
Mandy hums and shrugs. "It gets easier with practice. He's not that boring, just... really professional. All of the time."
"Speaking of professionalism," Courtney's grin widens as she picks up her drink (when did that arrive? It must have come while Mandy was zoned out) and holds it up towards Mandy. "I wanna have fun. How about you?"
Despite her brain telling her it's an awful idea considering they both have work in the morning and she knows Courtney will try to out-drink her even though she has the weaker alcohol tolerance of the two of them, Mandy huffs out a small laugh and raises her drink to clink it against Courtney's. "Fuck it, why not?"
--
Following her break-up, Mandy has found herself at the bar more often than usual. Who better to keep her company than her most troublesome employee and roommate, Invisigal?

Summary
Again. She knows he's referring to within this conversation considering she literally just lied to his face, but she bristles at the comment nonetheless. "Why? You gonna leave me if I do?"
Robert looks visibly taken aback at her small outburst, a small frown pulling at his brows. "No, I'm- What?"
"You should, you know. I've said that before," Courtney laughs dryly, even though she finds nothing about the situation even remotely funny.
--
Invisigal can't forgive herself for what she's done to Robert. Fortunately, Robert can, but now he needs to convince her she's worthy of forgiveness from herself.
