  Summary

  Everyone knew exterminators took no prisoners, so when Carmilla lost sight of Zestial one extermination, she knew he was lost. Though it was a shock for Hell to hear of the overlord's passing, Hell moved on quickly. Overlords fell all the time, after all. Carmilla resigned herself to moving on as well until she heard a whisper that he might not be as dead as she originally thought.
  Tortured for months, Zestial was broken but alive, and Carmilla would be damned if she left him behind again.
