Summary
John Watson, an ex-soldier and angel, attempts to adjust to his new life. After many attempts to connect to his new life, he finds himself tumbling head first after an eccentric, self-proclaimed consulting detective. The case they're after is more than Sherlock Holmes can ask for; four unexplained suicides, splatters of blood on the walls, curious scratchings on the floorboards! However, what they stumble upon might be more than they can handle..
For those of you who have read this story before, please go back to the beginning. It got a major makeover over night. I think you'll like this much better.

Sherlock didn't mean to abandon John. The chase, the work, had carried him away from his friend and led him through the park and into a dense section of trees. John, who nearly tailed him as he chased the young criminal, had disappeared almost immediately when the leaves began to melt together. The idiotic waistcoat-wearing, watch-thieving arse of a criminal dashed ahead at such a speed that Sherlock had completely missed where he went. He stopped at the thickest trunk he had seen in his life; to stop, he slammed face-first and tumbled down. The fall itself was incredibly long and boring. Sherlock gasped with excitement when it came to an end, greeted by glowing tree leaves and a man in a tall hat that looked strangely like a doctor that he knew.

Sometimes Dean wishes that Angels were like how they’re described in the Bible. How people from time too old for him to care much about thought Angels were messengers and warriors of God, protectors of Humans. He knows that how they’re really described in the Bible is actually pretty terrifying, but at least they were told by God that they’re supposed to love Humans, right?
That’s a thousand times better than what Angels really turned out to be.
