Summary
And now, he’s looking at George, knife and all, with hearts in his eyes, and the fluffy ears that give away his wolf perked up like he’s smelled a steak cooking. He’s swooning, over the prince he’d introduce to Sapnap as a man he hates, holding a knife to his throat. Sapnap is trapped in a shitty romance novel—and he’d thought he was in for his own odyssey, like a damn fool.
or; dream and george hate the arrangement of their marriage, and they hate each other, so they decide to run away together with sapnap along for the ride

Summary
He takes the newly vacated seat.
It gets him a lot closer to the hybrid, who peers at him with a cocked head and a considering look, his ears flopping over to the side.
Eddie shouldn’t be patronizing, but, objectively, it’s adorable.
“What’s a wolf doing in this neck of the woods?” the hybrid jokes, his mouth curling up at his own words.
Eddie gives him a carefully flat look. “You’re on Diaz pack territory.”

Summary
“Nice to meet you,” Eddie nods to them both, eyes sliding to Captain Nash’s other side, where the fourth member of their little team stands. He’s the youngest of them, positioned with his chest puffed out and arms crossed.
Eddie knows his type—insecure guys who get all threatened when someone intrudes on their territory. It’s an unsurprisingly common archetype among young werewolves.
“Evan Buckley,” he says. “Buck.”
He holds out a hand for Eddie to shake, as the name clicks for Eddie—the one Captain Nash had been on the edge of warning him about. Terrorizer of probies, more than likely.
And he’s cold. It’s a sharp contrast to Eddie’s naturally higher body heat, and he’s sure that it’s a strange sensation for both of them. When he breathes in a little deeper to check, seeking out Buck’s scent, he stills. The coppery smell is strong, overwhelmingly so. Buck is cold, and pale, and slimmer than Eddie would expect a firefighter his age to be.
or; eddie is a werewolf new to la, with a coworker who smells a lot like his natural enemy

Summary
(I guess we'll have to see)
“Did you catch anything?” Dream asks, and George shakes his head. Dream frowns, mouth opening to ask another question, or maybe suggest a new spot to try—he’s taken to asking his family for their secret places, which melts George into an irreparable puddle of goo—but George kisses the words from his tongue with an easy slide of his hand down Dream’s face to tilt his head at the right angle.
They don’t talk more of fishing, or anything at all. The bag lies nearly forgotten, save for the soft press of it against George’s memory, a sister awareness to the physical press of Dream’s body to his as they sink into sleep.
George dreams often of things he once desired.
or; george catches memories lost to time instead of fish

Summary
George stretches languidly on the prop bed, naked save for the light gold jewelry that adorns his body. A chain around his neck, pooling in the dips of his collarbones. Dainty anklets that catch the light should his alpha positions him with his legs in the air. A heavier bracelet around his right wrist that he idly brings to his mouth now, fitting his teeth to the metal in a show of boredom.
It’s all part of the act, of course. A pretty omega dressed like something precious, just waiting for an alpha to come along and save him, or whatever the plot of today’s video is meant to be. Dream likes to get creative with them—says it makes their content stand out. George indulges him if only to see the excited shine in his eyes when the numbers climb and climb.
or dream and george play the role of a traditional alpha and omega couple when the cameras are rolling

Summary
When Dream receives the invite to Bad and Skeppy’s wedding in Paris—card littered with hearts and ‘City of Love’ written in a swirly font so nobody can miss what this is about—his first thought isn’t about George. After all, they haven’t seen each other in ages, not since they were kids. Whatever connection they might have had, is probably all gone anyway. All passé, if you will.
So when Dream literally runs into George at Heathrow Airport, it's a happy coincidence. A chance to start up their friendship right where they left off thirteen years ago. Definitely not an invitation for more. Anything like that would just hurt George anyway, what with Dream's awful track record and all.
Friendship might be the last thing he wants or needs with George, but it's safe.
Safe for him, safe for George.
So why the hell did George just offer to be his fake boyfriend for the wedding?

Summary
“Eddie,” Buck hisses, squirming back against the warm, breathing wall of his body as Eddie palms him through his boxer-briefs, humming sleepily against Buck’s ear. “Eddie, jesus, we’re gonna wake someone — ”
They’re in the fucking bunk room. There’s someone snoring in the bed over by the bathroom, a good twenty feet and two beds away, and Buck doesn’t know if it’s Hen or Chimney or Bobby, but they’re in here, they’re asleep, and this is awful, this is so fucking unprofessional and if they get caught they are going straight to HR.

Summary
Because here’s the thing about Buck. The thing about Buck is that he likes simple sentences. Easy to follow instructions. When, where, what, how. Buck is smart, of course, and he can understand and infer and deduct from context clues and body language. Technically. Technically, he can do these things. But he prefers not to. He doesn’t like to guess. He doesn’t like to guess, because guessing makes him nervous. And Buck hates being nervous. Doesn’t everyone?
But Buck hates it more than most. Buck likes reassurance, he likes knowing things for certain. Because if he doesn’t know for certain, he’ll stress and he’ll ruminate and he’ll twist himself inside out and backwards wondering and worrying and assuming the worst. And when Buck assumes the worst, he makes terrible decisions. So it’s just easier this way. It’s easier to cut the middle man and for Eddie to decide things for Buck.

Buck moves out of Eddie's house in Los Angeles. A month later, Eddie and Christopher move back in.

Summary
Eddie keeps thinking about the smudges of soot he’d seen on Buck’s face at the wedding, around his mouth. He keeps thinking about self-denial and the things that could—would—bring him joy if he just let himself have them. His jaw tenses and aches.
So, because he’s apparently insane, he says, “I could help you.”
“What do you mean?”
“With the scent thing,” Eddie says. “I mean… if you want me to.”

Summary
George knew that he was good enough to win. It wasn’t hard to be confident about it—not when he was looking at his statistics, not when he clicked into his skis, and definitely not when he was racing down the hill so fast, he almost felt like he was flying.
But despite his confidence, despite everyone agreeing that he was overdue for a win, George had been damned to almost-win and never actually-win.
So he thought himself pretty reasonable for despising Dream. Who wouldn’t hate the guy who so often cut his own time down just a few hundreds of a second, who so often snatched the top spot for himself?
No charming smile would change how George felt about his rival. And no earnest compliments, whispered where the press couldn’t hear them. Neither would accepting Dream’s invitation to an after-race-party. Letting himself give into his own impulsivity (definitely not desire!) and kiss Dream before dragging him into the nearby closet—yeah, that for sure wouldn’t change things either.
