“I don’t understand, Your Majesty.”
“The royal property is safe for you, Prince Oscar, and welcomes you with open arms. But it’s dangerous to have an omega walking alone here.” Oscar thinks he’s hallucinating this whole conversation. “Don’t worry, Lando is one of our best swordsmen.”
Great, he has his own soldier, chosen by the king. Just great.

His eyes trail down. “Did you put, like, everything on?”
Oscar feels his cheeks burning. That’s what he was supposed to do from the beginning, wasn’t it?
“Yeah, kinda.”

Summary
“Ollie is an omega,” he blurts out, supposedly speaking to himself, but his engineer looks up at him, suspiciously arching an eyebrow.
“And the sky is blue, mate.”
“Did you know that?” Gabriel sounds way more offended than he intended to. “Am I the only one that didn’t know?”
“Well, it’s pretty obvious, you know?”

Summary
He should’ve known something was off when the first dream came up. But it was so fast, too much like a hallucination, and he woke up without a thought about it. Couldn’t remember. Not even a bit of it. Completely gone.

Lando News 🧡 @norrisjournal
Some new faces were around the garage today! This weekend the team received Oscar Piastri, he was part of an engineering program by Mclaren. He’s been working with them for a while now, and already met Lando in the MTC in 2023! Hopefully we can hear more from them soon. 👀

Summary
The contract must be certified by a marriage. A mating, as they say. A bite that would conceal.
That’s exactly when Oscar’s disgrace became handy.
It’s not like, by any means, Oscar expected to grow old in the castle, lurking in dark corners and fantasizing about an easier life. Still, being forced into mating a stranger was not his ideal plan either.

“We don’ train for outside folks anymore if that’s what you search for.” He glances at Oscar's hand, holding the leash firmly, although he knows it’s not necessary. His mare behaves well. “Unless you intend to sell it, which will be another problem.”
“No, sir,” Oscar says, “C’mere for a job, they said in town about it, sir.”

Summary
Lando stares. Bites his lips, chewing on them and bleeding the soft skin there. He won’t be the one who’ll give up. He won’t be the one starting this since it’s a lost battle, he won’t say anything first and give Oscar the power he already has. He won’t. He—
“You don’t think I’m good?” God, even the words he chose are miserable, portraying the poor dog image.
Oscar sighs, tired.

Summary
Lando can feel his bones going rigid as he sees Oscar in front of him. Another alpha is competition, someone he should take down and pull away from his area, someone he should be careful with.

Summary
What’s this?” He pointed to the list of activities numbered in alphabetical order.
“Your schedule, of course,” Jon seemed calm while speaking, almost made Lando believe he had seen a beautiful future, “See, one of them is in one hour, we should get going, you’re on two floors above me—”
“Jon.” He breathed, “Why ‘s there Oscar’s name on, like, the side of some stuff?”
When they got on the lift, Lando was almost certain his dyslexia was acting up, causing him to read it wrong. He blinked two times, and tried again. No. Yep, his name was still there.
“We must encourage people to believe you two have a friendly relationship, that’ll help media stop spreading misinformation, all the activities are safe and—” Lando groaned loud enough to be heard outside the elevator.
or, the landoscar rwrb fanfic nobody asked for but i did it anyway.

Summary
Oscar is nice enough to not push it further. He doesn’t want the heavyweight dancing in between to fall into a bittersweet mess, at least that's what Lando can tell by the looks. His mouth, once shutted into a thin line, opens to taste the pasta, a bit of cheese stays on his lips until he licks it off, jaw chewing calmly, tasting the sauce and garlic. Lando doesn’t realize he’s staring, as his own guts announce he’s hungry, he ignores the fact to wait patiently for something to be said.
Oscar raises his eyebrows, confused by the behavior.
“It’s good,” he says, and proceeds to take another bite, “I liked it.”

Summary
Four missed calls from Fewtrell, one from Jon, so many from people that work on McLaren PR team that he can’t even count whose number he had saved. Oliver called three times, and his father did two. And something is wrong.
He hears his own heartbeat, waking up too quickly always makes him dizzy, but this time he is pretty sure the sickness was already there. Hot sunlight is touching his skin, it’s warm under the blanket, even when comfort is running away from him. He unlocks his phone, and stares at the screen.
In which there is a photo leak of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Kissing.

Summary
“Don’t be weird about it, ‘kay? I just—” He chuckled nervously, it was a stupid conversation about personality, not a big deal at all, “I just wanted you to talk more, y’know?”
In which Lando, with all his greatness, accidentally curses Oscar.

“What type of race?” He lets his phone down on his thigh, focusing fully on the conversation and suddenly more interested.
“The type that you can’t do, y’know?” George says with a suspicious grin. Lando tilts his head because what in the world are they even talking about?
”We’re talking about street races, Lando,” Charles takes pity on him and starts a little explanation, “There are laws against it so you better shut up about this, I mean it, could get Oscar in real trouble.”
Lando can’t help but let out a huff. Perhaps he slept on the couch and this is all some type of strange nightmare, it doesn’t seem right when his brain starts collecting and comprehending what they just told him, for some reason, he can’t believe that.
Or, Oscar is a street racing driver, and Lando needs to see before believing.

Summary
“Are you aware of your condition?” Oscar is, thank you very much. Five doctors told him (his mother) about the miracle he was. He nods, rolling his eyes. “So you know you have a rut coming up?”
Oh. This. No, this was unexpected.
