Summary
More than 1,000 years after Arthur's death, Merlin is still waiting for his King's return.
He waits in an abandoned, yet fully decorated observatory on the shore of the Lake of Avalon. An observatory that he has decorated to his heart's content, a place truly fit for a King.
He couldn't wait for the day that Arthur would see it.

Merlin journeys to Avalon to plead for Arthur’s return. The Sidhe agree to let them go, but there is one condition. Merlin must lead the way, and he can’t turn around to make sure Arthur is following. Not unless he wants Arthur to be sent back to Avalon forever.
Based loosely on the musical Hadestown, and the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice.

King Balinor of Arlandia, and King Uther of Camelot haven't always gotten along, they were childhood friends, but after Ygrain died at the hands of a witch called Morgause, he swore vengeance, but not on her, on magic.
But after Queen Hunith of Arlandia called to fight in King Uthers war against magic, she was able to change his mind, and thats how this love match was born.
King Uther's son was one when Ygrain died, and he knew his friends from Arlandia were trying to conceive a child themselves, so jokingly at first they strook a deal, an arranged marriage between Arthur and Balinors unborn child.
And when he was finally born, they moved King Uther and young prince Arthur into the castle, so that Emrys and Arthur may grow up together. That doesn't quite work out as planned, but fear not, soulmates always find a way to each other, even when it may be best for them to forget.Bookmarked by cs1ff_a
