Summary
Itoshi Sae is a bartender at an illegal underground fighting ring, working to support his younger brother's professional MMA career. Kojiro looked around the pristine greeting area of the studio. It was almost too fancy, too nice and he barely resisted the urge to check his directions for the hundredth time. Hell, the placard next to the door had said Sakurayashiki Studio so he couldn’t not have the right place.
“Please take a seat,” a pleasant woman’s voice told him through a speaker.
“O-okay,” Kojiro answered back, unsure whether she could hear him. “Thanks,” he added, just in case.
He couldn’t help but second-guess and feel a bit nervous. He’d never done anything like this before. But how hard could modeling be, really? He just had to stand there, right? At least that’s what Tadashi had told him when he convinced him to take the job.
Not that it took that much convincing once Tadashi told him the pay. Kojiro still wondered if that had been some sort of a mistake. Weren’t they supposed to be “starving artists”? How could anyone pay him that much to just…stand there?
Okay, stand there naked but he was still trying not to think too much about that part.
Kojiro needs money. Kaoru needs a muse.
