"No, no, no need to do that !" Takemichi reaches for the front of his jacket to readjust it on him. "So much for showing off like a gentleman while you're less dressed, I'm fine."
"You're shivering." Mikey remarks, warm hands covering his, still clutching at his collar.
"If you want to warm me up that badly, there are other ways to do it." Takemichi half-teases.
He was aware of how Mikey always reflected with a protective instinct towards him.
Takemichi didn't want Mikey to feel obliged to go home right away just because of him, so there was an innocent and thoughtful part to his repartee, he could swear it. He just wished that they could enjoy their date a little longer. But, he would be lying if he said that the flash of surprise and quick interest that passed through those dark eyes was unpleasant.

Takemichi's mouth was open, Mikey could note the rhythm of his breathing which told him that he was already deep in his sleep. It wouldn't be the same if he was just pretending, he had to be sure by checking.

Mikey always loved sitting across from his childhood friend, Hanagaki Takemichi whenever he could.
He loved doing so, mainly because he could stealthily watch the youngers movements; the way his lips quirked into small, shy smiles or how he played with his inky-black curls when he was anxious or lost in thought or in the way the younger would slightly nibble on his bottom lip when debating something with his fellow classmates or friends – or pouting and huffing when he didn’t get his way.
He tries to be as inconspicuous as he possibly can, but on one unfortunate day, he's caught by the object of his affection.
