Summary
Peter Parker had been in dozens of field trips before. All of them were fairly uneventful, even a little boring at times. The trips offered at his new school promised to change that, though. How many fourteen years olds could say they visited Oscorp, after all? It was a dream come true!
Then there was that spider.

Summary
In all honesty, Hearthstone wasn't too worried about where he would end up while on the run as long as it was as far from Alfheim as possible. He just wanted to leave his house and his family behind and never look back, before his sudden burst of courage ran off and he crawled back into his room before his parents got home, praying to the gods that they didn't find out about him attempting to run away.
In retrospect, maybe he should have been a little more selective about that.

Will Peter be able to stay for once? Will he accept his new foster family? What are his foster siblings hiding from him? And how does a spider bite make everything so much better, yet so much worse at the same time?
