When Bingmei was in the other world, he arrived at the water prison, where he found a dying Shen Qingqiu. With a broken heart, he pulled him out and took him to his own world, quickly bringing him to his Mu-shishu while he went to find that world’s version of himself.
Shen Qingqiu was dazed, confused, and above all, exhausted. He no longer wanted to live — he wished to die and for his soul to be lost forever. That strange Luo Binghe had taken him out of the water prison and brought him to his Mu-shidi. Confused and unwilling to resist, he simply let it happen.
But his mind was full of questions he couldn’t voice due to the absence of his tongue, nor could he write them without arms, and much less could he run without legs.
All he could do was wait and see what would happen to him — and whether, at last, he could die in peace.
