Summary
The miracle in front of him took the shape of a lanky, tanned boy with cheeks dusted with freckles, brown, wind-tangled curls and quite possibly the most captivating eyes he had ever seen. They were looking down at Keith with an almost pitying look but he didn’t dwell on that, instead focused on the smudged eyeliner on his waterline that accentuated the deep blue of his eyes so well. Maybe Keith had died of hypothermia but if his angel came to him in the form of the cutest boy he had ever seen, then a miracle was still a miracle. He was ready to reach out and let this boy guide him to the afterlife until thin, manicured fingers snapped rapidly in front of him trying to get his attention. Keith finally noticed the boy was standing in front of Keith, carrying a skateboard he hadn’t noticed at his side and looking about ready to smack some consciousness back into Keith.
“Hello?” he drawled, leaning in closer to Keith’s face. “Are you here with me, man?”
Keith flushed, suddenly too aware that he had been drooling at this guy in silence. God, maybe the wind was freezing the part of his brain that helped him think critically.
______Keith gets lost but a random boy makes it the best night of his life.

Wylan raised his eyebrows and reached up, touching his very burnt ends. “Oops. Guess I was getting too close to burning chemicals. I didn’t even notice,” he chuckled, moving on like it was nothing.

Jesper honestly didn’t know why he was going to do this in the first place. Was it out of spite? Greed? Vengeance? Even Wylan wouldn’t do what he was about to go do. He knew it was immature but he was still going to do it. The more he thought about it, the more staying at home with Wylan started to sound appealing. He had no obligation to do this, it was one of his risky urges that he was following yet again.

As the days went by, it became more apparent to Jesper that he really hoped Wylan was his soulmate. There was something so natural in the way they met and grew to care for and love each other. There had to be a reason why Jesper’s mind drifted to Wylan whenever something good happened and he’d find himself wanting nothing more than to tell Wylan about it. It felt like loving Wylan was wired into his brain.
