He’d never been good at doing anything he didn’t want to do, he either did things with childlike wonder and excitement or he simply didn’t do them at all. Yin Yu rolled his eyes but there was no real malice behind it this time. Perhaps there never had been, not a malice toward his Shidi at least, just towards the world. He reached out a hand to pull at some of the bouncing brown curls, tugging them and watching them pop back into shape, revealing tangles underneath.
“I don’t like when other people touch it,” Quan Yizhen said.
Yin Yu pulled his hand away, confused.
“No, other people who aren’t Shixiong. It felt wrong when anyone else did it.”
The younger man’s eyes shone as he looked down at Yin Yu, glistening with earnest emotion. The sight felt like a punch to Yin Yu’s gut. It felt like warm sunshine on his skin.

Having a literal goddess for a whife has it's ups and downs and can make life seem a bit unpredictable at times, but if there's one thing for certain, it's that things never get boring with her.
This is just a bunch of modern AU hylink oneshots with no real plot in mind. And things don't go exactly the way the manga did, I kinda had to change a few things. There was a war but it was Hyrule fighting with a different country, not Demise. And Link was a POW that was released when the war ended and Hylia found him homeless and helped him get back up on his feet.

There’s a moment of thick, heavy silence between them before she slides off and to the side of him instead. Guilty, Link turns his body to face her and wraps her in his arms, murmuring an apology with lips pressed to her forehead.
