Summary
I heard Pacific Rim AU and blacked out for four days. Featuring breaking and entering, petty theft, friends to lovers, the drift, Hands(tm), and just a bit of angst.
“You’re the black sheep.” They drawl, leaning against a wall and crossing their arms, watching Morgan work.
Morgan paused to roll their eyes, “Black sheep, honestly. Just because I refused to even try drifting with my brother and went into the science division instead, you know they actually appreciate what I can do? Drones are very cool and helpful.”
“I’ve heard you’re making more than just drones.”
“Well, sure, but like I said, drones are very cool and helpful. Helpful like getting the base funding when they sell the plans to the government helpful.” Morgan had stuck one of the picks in their mouth, talking around it in a way that was weirdly distracting.
