And instead, he was going to die nameless. Pinned like garbage in a filthy side street. Manual didn’t know where he was. There was no backup. No emergency alert. He hadn’t even been missed yet.
He wasn’t going to save anyone. He wasn’t going to die with honor. He wasn’t going to die remembered.
