Yugo didn’t know exactly when the boy showed up, sitting at the bench in front of the shop with a book in his hand and his messy black hair covering his face. At first, Yugo hadn’t really paid him much attention. Sure, that was his bench that the boy was sitting on and Yugo had to go around back for his smoke breaks, but Yugo wasn’t just mean enough to kick a kid off a bench. It was only after the boy started showing up every single day, sun or rain, on the bench, just reading that he got tired of it.
Yugo one-mans a gas station and car shop, spending all his alone time drinking cheap wine and pondering the past. Ray is a kid without direction and a deadpan to rival Yugo's. It was only natural that Yugo might take him in.

“Please kill me”, the girl said. Kaeya paused. His soward hung suspended in the air, his feet firmly digging into the ground ready to take off but prematurely halted and his eye wide as a plate. Kill me now. There was something so melancholic– so pathetic– and so vulnerable in her plea, flogging Kaeya in all the places he usually covered with pounds of armor. It reminded him entirely too much of someone he used to know.

It was funny, almost ironic, that a nun and a knight would be the drunkest patrons in a tavern. One might think that the two were here to give disappointed looks to the other drunkards. Maybe the nun would sympathetically extend an invitation to the next day’s mass and the knight might be on the prowl, ready to break up any scuffles that may arise. But alas, the nun and knight are huddled at a table in the very corner of the Angel’s Share on their third bottle of Dandelion wine. It would have been baffling if it were not for the fact that Rosaria was no ordinary nun and Kaeya was no outstanding knight.

Summary
Sirius is pretty content with life. He’s escaped his hellish home and now lives a normal teen’s life finishing his last year of sixth-form. Everything’s fine untill James starts dating that Lily girl he’d pinned after for years and while Sirius couldn’t be happier for his friend, James had taken to skipping his last class to get some quality alone time with Lily, leaving Sirius to walk home by himself. It’s only when a strange boy named Remus who’s so uncool that he’s cool offered him a ride home does Sirius’ normal life changes for the better.
