    Summary

    He stared down to the gravel that littered the drive, unsure and hesitant.

    Even though he had spent the last stretch of the carriage ride assuring his parents of his decision to continue on with their original plans, Jack’s words in the carriage had set a flame of fear alight within Tim’s gut, and it was taking every ounce of self control he had earned over the years to reign himself and his emotions in enough to not put them on display for everyone present.

    There was a very real likely hood that Tim could fail. He could make one mistake, one far too strained smile, one wrong step and he could be taken away from his parents for good. He would never see them again. He would never wait by the door for their return, never smile under his mothers glowing praise at his progress with his schooling, or beam as his dad gave him complimented his budding intelligence with ruling over their people.

    Tim would lose the very few things he already had in this world all because of a curse he had never asked to bear.

    Summary

    “Hello! How would you like to play a game?”

    A voice coated in static broke the still silence of the Watchtower, bringing Barry to a very sudden stop in the middle of a long hallway. The drop from top speed sent buffets of wind racing down the hall, brushing against promethium walls with a sharp, haunting whistle that only made the voice coming out of every speaker in the Tower more ominous.

    The voice was distinctly male sounding, though they spoke with a thick accent that had them pitching the words up and down the octave scale rapidly and unusually.

    “It will not take too much of your time. You see, we are running a sort of experiment, and Gotham has been selected to run one of our samples!”

    “You will not be able to contact those outside of your city, and they will be unable to contact you! Fear not, it will only last for as long as the experiment does.”

    Summary

    "What do you mean, no?" The pout was so achingly familiar on the ghastly figure, tugging down more on the left side of Conners face than the left.

    It sent a wave a hurt through his own soul.

    "You aren't him. I watched them bury you."

    The silence was deafening as the two stared one another down in silence. One, panicked and uncertain. The other awkward and nervous.

    "Tim-"

    "No. I don't care what sort of exhausted hallucination this is, I left so I could get away from his memory. Not relieve it."

    or, Tim Drake is mourning the death of his best friend, his partner in life, and seeks to escape the one place that reminds him of warm smiles and cackling laughter. Unfortunately, even the saddest parts of Gotham are not enough to escape death.

    Summary

    “Seriously? A duffle-bag? Jay-”

    Crime Alley’s Red Hood had come to a slow stop at the top of a small bakery. He pulled a small device out of his utility belt, fiddling with the gadget that held an uncanny resemblance to one of his pistols.

    “This isn’t the most secure line, Cardinal.” His whole head tilted and turned with an over dramatic eye roll as he interrupted the name-slip, even if Tim couldn’t see it.

    The device gave a short huffing sound, some inner mechanic clicking into place and sending a quaint quiver through the metal.
    “Hood. Whatever. A duffle-bag? Really?”

    “How the hell else was I supposed to get them there?”

    ~~~~~
    or, Jason Todd and Tim Drake never got to experience life in Wayne manor, and entered the vigilante scene in a more round-about way. Dick Grayson finds them suspicious, and Bruce Wayne just wants peace and quiet.
    or or, a short one shot set in my 'A Robin's Wings to Guide You Home' universe.
    or or or, I really wanted to write Nightwing and Red Hood playing a not very fun game of roof top tag and ran out of time.
