Summary
10 years together, 7 years of marriage
1 year of separation.
Yeosang swears he's over it. Over Mingi, and over the marriage that had made him grown so tired of being left behind, tired of feeling inadequate as his spouse. A year after walking away, and he's never been better. He has new friends, a more fulfilling career, and his familial relationships has never been better (with an adorable little niece that he can spoil to his hearts content). Philza struggled to keep standing straight, dizzy from blood loss, a white-knuckle grip on his sword.
“I have heard much of you, emperor Philza, and I have respect for you. Therefore, I’ll offer you a deal. You will surrender. You will kneel before me, right here, right now, and beg for mercy. Then I’ll take you to the Nether with me, and you’ll become my prisoner, slave, and personal servant. Or-”
The Blood God raised his netherite blade, pointing the tip straight at Philza’s heart.
“-I will allow you to die with a sword in your hand, and once you’re dead, I will slaughter your children.”
Philza fell to his knees without hesitation.
