"The moonlight caught perfectly in Saps' silver eyes as he looked off into the night sky. His eyebrows were slightly furrowed, hands absentmindedly fidgeting with the fabric of the lifted veil. What was he so nervous about? Why had he taken his veil off so abruptly?
"Flux..." Saps pursed his lips that the other was most certainly not staring at.
"Yes?" God, he hoped he didn't sound as breathless as he felt.
"I-" He cut himself off, glancing at Flux before looking away again. His hands dropped from the veil and gripped the fence. "I'm a vampire."
And he was dead serious. Flux snapped out of his dazed state, utterly shocked. Really? A vampire?"
