an absolutely masterpiece!!! masterfully woven narrative and pacing (more so than malfoy’s golden threads and wards) and the development was delicious to watch unfold. my heart aches unexpectedly for the side characters who despite little screen time, were so effective. the different point of views seamlessly move the story forward while making me feel right in their headspace. love to read about a yearning obsessive man and draco plays the part so well while never crossing the line with hermione (aside from the kidnapping but we all knew she needed it lol) and just reading draco go back in time, being patient and waiting for things to fall in place was so good. crow was so adorable too, its sweet that he didn’t disappear and they’ve just been waiting for hermione so they can begin a family :’)
