Summary
Lan Wangji had long turned his back away from the world that once took the boy he loved from him.
But a love like that leaves traces, burned into memory, in meaningful glances, laughter caught in the wind, in fingers brushing beneath desks, and in silence that once felt like safety.
Years later, he returns, not for politics, nor legacy, but for the echo of a promise they once whispered on a summer afternoon.
