WARNING!!!! The first chapter contains smut.
Lastly, this is the first part (out of five) of the Think Angst Challenge. For further information, I advise you to read the notes at the beginning because it's a liiiiittle intricate. ANYWAY, I'll add this to a series so you know they all belong to the challenge and YES, I KNOW, the name of the series sucks.
Idk. I felt like it should have both 'Akira' and 'angst' in the title and this came out. Oh, well. As we say in Italy, "this is what my brain suggested me, and this I did".

‘Do you feel ever lonely?’ And, if he does, ‘Is it my fault?’
‘Do you feel this thing between us, too? Is it consuming you like it does me?’
AKA, Kaneda being on the verge of a breakdown as he tries to approach Tetsuo during an ordinary night at a club. That's it, that's the fic.

Tetsuo blinks a couple of times. Well, what the hell, if that’s what he wants, he’ll do it. But if he’s just playing with him, he’ll never forgive him.

His heart stops the very moment he says it. The funny thing is, even though he expects a pitiful show – like Kaneda bursting out laughing in his face, as he deserves, or walking away horrified by his immaturity, or simply feeding him everything he’s been dreading to hear for days: ‘Are you kidding? You, being on top? Do you even know how it’s done?’ – he can’t stop staring at him.
Kaneda blinks a couple of times, his face concentrated and his mouth half-open. After five endless seconds he speaks, all calm and collected like he’s stating the obvious:
“Then be the fucking top”
