“What the fuck do you want me to do?!?! Genuinely, I am pleading with you—” Dick cried, clasping his hands together in mock prayer, his voice hoarse from yelling. “What do you WANT from me!? Just tell me the right answer, and I’ll go do it.”
    “I—”
    “I don’t know.”
“I can’t keep doing this,” Dick sighed. “I can’t keep wondering if today's gonna be a good day or a bad day with you. I can’t keep trying to decode what you want.”
Dick looked tired. Old beyond his years. His face pulled into a disappointed frown.

Or: Unfortunately, Dick Grayson cannot read minds.
