Hawkeye was shouting, the noise coming in big gasping breaths. BJ was on the other side of the tent before he had fully woken from his dream. Moving on instinct across the detritus on the tent. Landing heavily on his knees, where Hawkeye’s hand was curled tightly around the frame of his cot.
“Hawk, you’re dreaming.” BJ pushed the hair from Hawkeye’s damp forehead. Keeping his palm pressed there while he tried to rouse him. “Come on Hawk, it’s time to wake up. Come back to me.”BJ comforts Hawkeye after a nightmare.

Hawkeye leans closer as he drops his voice. "Name it."
Her cheeks are flushed again. Her lips part. Whatever is going through her mind seems to be difficult for her to put into words, and goddamn, Hawk knows he's plenty selfish enough already, but he still can't help but hope that they're on similar pages, that her desires have everything to do with...with them. Taking a chance. It's petrifying to imagine—if they're not compatible, what happens to Hawkeye and BJ? What happens to BJ and Peg? But it's even more uncomfortable to think of a world where Hawkeye buries his desire to be close to her any deeper than he already has.
He's contemplating so intensely that when she does speak, it takes a moment for the words to have meaning.
"I want you to come to bed with me."

Summary
For a moment he wishes Sirius was there.
He closes his eyes, allowing him to accept it even as his lungs scream for him to continue fighting. He hurts…so much. It is overtaking him, drowning out the voices that continue to berate his mind. But he still cannot bring himself to fight back. His mind goes fuzzy, his consciousness beginning to lessen its hold on his body.
Yet, for a moment, he swears the pressure of the water leaves him. He swears that he is gasping for air and actually obtaining it. And, the thing that makes him fully realize that this is his mind’s last attempt to give him peace, is the mirage of his brother staring down at him, eyes widened in shock.
And just like that, Regulus finally loses consciousness.
